Kingsthorpe war memorial stands at the Cock Hotel junction on Harborough Road in Kingsthorpe, Northampton. The stone Cenotaph stands in a fenced-off garden. The cast figure is made of bronze and represents St George.
In 2002 a project was undertaken to replace a stolen figure which stood at the top of the memorial. The statue of St George had been stolen in 1990. The Trust contributed £250.
The memorial was erected in 1921 following the design of Mr Alfred Turner RBA. It commemorates 165 men who died in the First World War. Those names that could have been added after the Second World War were added instead to the main memorial in Abington Square in Northampton as Kingthorpe had become part of the Borough of Northampton in the 1930's.
