Kings Royal Rifles war memorial before work © WMT, 2002The King's Royal Rifle Corps stone of remembrance stands on Wimbledon Common. It is a square stone on a square plinth.

In 2002 a restoration project was undertaken on the war memorial. War Memorials Trust provided a contribution of £216.20 to conservation works including cleaning.

The inscription on the memorial reads:

To the memory of all ranks
of the reserve battalions
of the King's Royal Rifle Corps
who trained here and
afterwards gave their lives
for King and Country
