Ringmer war memorial © Ringmer Parish Council 2003The war memorial in the Sussex village of Ringmer is a medieval-style wheel cross on a slim tapering pillar which stands on a plinth on an octagonal four-stepped base. It is constructed from Bath stone. The plinth is inscribed with the names of the fallen, and the front and back faces of the top step with dedications as well as names. The memorial is surrounded by a chain fence supported by low stone pillars and stands on the village green.

In April 2003 War Memorials Trust gave £250 towards work on the memorial, namely cleaning, repairing where necessary with new stone and selective re-cutting of letters.
