The war memorial in St Mary's Church remembers the Fallen of Ixworth. The celtic cross stands on a plinth atop a three stepped base. It is surrounded by a low chain fence.
In 2003 £200 was offered to a project to repoint and clean the war memorial alongside repairs being made to the fence.
The memorial was dedicated on 20 December 1919 by Canon R F Wilson and unveiled during the service by Colonel Parry Crooke. The memorial was re-dedicated on 31 October 1948.
