Sheffield's Great Central Railway war memorial is a series of panels within a wooden frame - upon the panels are the names of those who fell in World War I. It is on display outside the Royal Victoria Holiday Inn Hotel.

In 2002, a Small Grants Scheme grant of £250 was given towards the restoring and relocation. The memorial has been moved several times during its lifetime and its new setting is very close to its original placement, the site of the former Sheffield Victoria Station.

The memorial remembers 1304 ex-railway men who died in World War I. It was unveiled in 1922 by Earl Haig. Originally sited on the forecourt of Victoria Station it moved in 1937 and again in 1973 when it was located below Wickes Arches.

The Great Central Railway Society are the owners of the war memorial.
