In Garrabost a memorial garden is the war memorial for the District of Point. The garden is surrounded by a circular stone wall at the back of which is a raised wall with four granite tablets which carry inscriptions and names. There is also a dedicatory panel at the entrance to the garden. It commemorates those who fell in the two World Wars.

The war memorial and garden of remembrance was created by the residents of Point on the Isle of Lewis in 2004. War Memorials Trust gave £250 towards the appeal to raise around £70,000.

The stonework of the memorial garden walls is constructed from reclaimed stone of derelict buildings that were originally the homes of some of those recorded on the memorial plaques. This was donated by descendents.
