East Harling war memorial before work © Harling Parish Council 2003East Harling war memorial stands on the memorial green adjoining the B1111. The Celtic cross is made of Cornish light grey granite. On one side there is a cross in relief.

In 2003 a project to repair the memorial received a grant of £200 the Small Grant Scheme. Work included repointing with lime mortar, repairs to the paving around the memorial, cleaning and retouching the lettering.

The memorial was erected in 1920 and had World War II names added after 1945.

To the Glory of God and to the Memory of the Men of East Harling who fell in the Great War 1914 - 1918
