Waddington's stone of remembrance stands on Bar Lane. The stone is granite and is placed on a York stone plinth surrounded by low railings into which the words 'lest we forget' are integrated. The new war memorial replaces a previous one in the village which was destroyed by enemy action in 1941.

In 2003 War Memorials Trust contributed £250 towards the new war memorial which was unveiled on 9th November that year. The memorial cost £4,018.50 and was built by Leakes Masonry of Louth.
