Ivinghoe war memorial after work © Ivinghoe Parish Council 2003Ivinghoe war memorial is located at St Mary’s Church, Church Road, Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire. This memorial is in the form of a limestone obelisk with a Maltese cross at the top and a decorative laurel wreath. The inscription in lead letters painted black commemorates those who died in World War I and II. The memorial is within the Ivinghoe Conservation Area.

In 2003 a grant of £250 was given towards conservation work which included mortar repairs and re-lettering work.

In 2017 a grant of £940 was awarded through War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme towards steam cleaning the memorial, painting the lead lettering black to improve the legibility of the inscription and lime mortar pointing. The metal elements of the memorial were also protected with SmartWater as one of the conditions of the grant.
