Broad Chalke memorial after work © Broad Chalke Parish Council, 2007Broad Chalke war memorial cross is made of Cornish stone. The inscription and names have been added in lead lettering. The memorial stands opposite All Saints Church in the village.

In 2007 War Memorials Trust awarded a grant of £315 towards cleaning and re-lettering of the memorial.

The inscription on the memorial reads:

To the Glory of God
and in grateful memory of the Men
of this village who gave their lives for
King and Country in the Great War 1914 - 1918
