Colwall war memorial cross stands in the churchyard of St James the Greater on Mill Lane in Colwall. The stone calvary cross is erected on a three stepped octagonal base.
The memorial has received multiple grants and the summary details of this record relate to the most recent grant.
In 2003 a Small Grants Scheme award of £100 supported re-touching the lettering and cleaning of the areas of the memorial with inscriptions and names.
In 2004 a further application was made as the Council had secured additional funding. War Memorials Trust was able to offer £200 to assist with re-painting the lettering, re-pointing the memorial with lime mortar and cleaning the whole memorial with water and bristle brushes.
