Leasingthorne war memorial is located opposite Eden Terrace in Leasingthorne, Durham. It is a sandstone obelisk on square base with two pedestals surrounded by iron railings and a gate. The incised inscriptions painted black commemorate those who died in World War I and II. The memorial is Grade II listed.
In 2017 a grant of £7,930 was awarded through War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme to reinstate the base wall and railings. As part of the In Memoriam 2014 project SmartWater was applied to deter the theft or damage of the metal elements.
The memorial was unveiled on 12th September 1925 by Col E. Vaux of Barton, near Darlington, dedicated by Rev D. Perrott. It was originally surrounded by other houses.
