Haughton war memorial is located at the junction of Newport Road and Royds Close in Haughton, Staffordshire. The memorial is a Clipsham limestone Latin cross standing on a plinth atop a three-stepped octagonal base. At the top of the cross is a carved downward pointing arrow representing the emblem of St Giles. The inscription on the plinth and the steps commemorates those who died in World War I and II.
In 2016 a grant of £1,130 was offered through War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme towards steam cleaning to improve legibility and lime mortar pointing. Works were completed that year and payment made in early 2017.
The memorial was made by Messrs Clarey and Wright of Ipswich and Mr J. Benton Monumental Mason to the design of W.D. Caroe. It was dedicated in 1920 at its former position on the corner of Newport Road and Brazenhill Lane. It was moved to a site further west on Newport Road following wind damage in 1938 and then moved again to its current site near Royds Close in 1977, in commemoration of Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee.
