This war memorial comprises a square stone plinth with recessed stone tablets incised with lettering and carved plaque to each elevation. The plinth is surmounted by a four-sided flint obelisk with block and start ashlar quoins and a metalwork cross finial. The memorial is located at the Intersection of Langley Green, Langley Road and Staithe Road in Langley.
In 2016 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £640 towards the undertaking of conservation works to clean the memorial with a combination of hand cleaning using natural bristle brushes and DOFF steam cleaning. In addition, loose and failing mortar was raked-out from the memorials joints and joints were repointed using a lime mortar.
The stone used in the construction of the memorial is believed to have been sourced from the nearby Langley Abbey.
The panels are incised with a dedication inscription and the names of the Fallen of World War I.
