Whitwell war memorial © Niton and Whitwell Parish Council, 2005Whitwell war memorial stands on the High Street on a raised walled platform accessed by three steps. The memorial is a stone, wheel cross atop a shaft on three-stepped base which carry the names and inscriptions. The memorial is Grade II listed.

In 2005, War Memorials Trust gave £225 towards repairing the railings which protect the war memorial.
