The memorial in Kessingland Methodist Church, Church Road in the village of Kessingham on the north east Suffolk coast is a roll of honour. It is paper with a mid-brown wooden frame. In a large circle at the top of the memorial are scenes depicting artillery guns, aeroplanes and ships, to represent the three branches of the armed forces. In front of this are pictures of flags with their poles tucked behind the Union flag. The words "1914 – 1918
Roll of honour" are written on either side of this decoration and the border is decorated. The roll of honour lists all those who fell in the war, as well as those from the congregation who fought and returned.
In October 2005 War Memorials Trust gave £205 towards dry cleaning the paper to remove the mould, repairing the damage caused by mould and remounting the roll of honour.
