Bethseda war memorial before work © RBL Bethseda, 2005Bethseda war memorial is sited on Ogwen Terrace/High Street. The war memorial cenotaph carries the names from World War I with pillars either side featuring the names of the fallen from World War II.

In 2005, War Memorials Trust gave £250 towards installing metal railings around the memorial and designed to support an arch. The arch were originally located outside Bethseda chapel, erected after World War I. Following the sale of the chapel the local branch of the Royal British Legion stored the railings until they could be erected by the memorial.

The lettering on the arch of the railings reads:

"Er cof am y milwyr" which translates as In memory of the soldiers

The memorial was erected in 1923.
