Buckhurst Hill war memorial © P Liddell, 2012This war memorial consists of a limestone tablet with an inlaid bronze plaque containing the names of the fallen from Buckhurst Hill, Essex. The war memorial is located outside St Stephen’s Church.

In 2013 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £215 towards the repair of the cross on the top of the tablet, which had fallen off at an unknown point in time. The cross was affixed using a stainless steel dowel and a resign filler.
