17th December 2010 Rededication of Derby war memorial (WM4107), Derbyshire 

Regional Volunteer Rachael Bodycot represented the Trust at the rededication of the Midland Railway war memorial in Derby.

8th December 2010 Talk to Blackpool Local History Group, Lancashire 

Regional Volunteer Mike Coyle gave a talk about the Trust to members of the Blackpool Local History Group.

A talk about the work of War Memorials Trust was given by Regional Volunteer Rachael Bodycot to the members of the Alyestone Local History Group in Leicester.

Regional Volunteer Rachael Bodycot gave a talk about war memorials and the Trust to the Braunstone Eldery Citizens Group.

Regional Volunteer Deirdre Nicol distributed War Memorials Trust information at the event in Hurstbourne Tarrant. 

11th November 2010 Talk to Harborough Historical Society, Leicestershire

Regional Volunteer Denis Kenyon gave a talk to members of the Harborough Historical Society about war memorials and the work of the Trust.

11th November 2010 Dedication of Carlton and Chellington war memorial, Bedfordshire

The Trust was represented by Regional Volunteer Joan Howe at the dedication of the Carlton and Chellington war memorial.

11th November 2010 Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, London 

Director of War Memorials Trust, Frances Moreton, represented the charity at the Royal British Legion event at the Royal Albert Hall.

10th November 2010 Talk to Friends of Kelso Museum, Scottish Borders

Regional Volunteer Alex McCue gave a talk about the work of Robert Lorimer and the Trust to the members of the Friends of Kelso Museum.

4th November 2010 Talk to All Saints with St John's Church Women's Fellowship, Lincolnshire 

Regional Volunteer Tony Stubbs gave a talk about war memorials and the Trust to members of the Women's Fellowship in Bourne.

1st November 2010 Talk to Shildon Local History Group, County Durham 

A talk about the work of War Memorials Trust was given to the members of the Shildon Local History Group by Regional Volunteer James Pasby.

31st October 2010 Dedication of Battle of Gheluvelt memorial, Worcestershire

Regional Volunteer Ronald Bubb represented the Trust at the dedication of the Battle of Gheluvelt memorial in Gheluvelt Park, Worcester.

31st October 2010 Talk to Corby Glen History Society, Lincolnshire 

Regional Volunteer Tony Stubbs gave a talk about war memorials and the Trust to members of the Corby Glen History Society.

30th October 2010 South Shields Local History Day, Tyne and Wear 

Regional Volunteer James Pasby distributed information about War Memorials Trust at the South Shields Local History Day.

28th October 2010 Unveiling of Sir Keith Park memorial, Kent 

HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron of War Memorials Trust unveiled a memorial to Sir Keith Park at the Battle of Britain memorial in Capel-le-Ferne, Kent. Trust Chairman Algy Cluff, Trustess Colin Amery and Gavin Stamp and Director Frances Moreton also attended.

28th October 2010 Talk to Western Front Association Spalding branch, Lincolnshire

A talk about touring the Western Front and the Trust was given to members of the Spalding branch of the Western Front Association in Spalding by Regional Volunteer Tony Stubbs.

26th October 2010 Talk to Liverpool and South West Lancashire History Group, Lancashire

A talk about War Memorials Trust was given to the Liverpool and South West Lancashire Family History Group by Regional Volunteer Mike Coyle.

19th October 2010 Talk to Probus Club Washington branch, Tyne and Wear 

A War Memorials Trust member gave a talk about Harraton war memorial and the Trust to members of the Washington Probus Club.

26th September 2010 Rededication of Lytham St Annes war memorial (WM3719), Lancashire 

The Trust was represented by Regional Volunteer Mike Coyle at the rededication of the Lytham St Annes war memorial.

26th September 2010 Talk to Western Front Association Offord Cluny branch, Offord Cluny, Cambridgeshire

Regional Volunteer, Tony Stubbs, gave a talk about touring the Western Front and the work of the Trust to the members of the Offord Cluny branch of the Western Front Association.

24th September 2010 Talk to Western Front Association Hatfield Peverel branch, Essex

A talk about touring the Western Front and War Memorials Trust was given to the members of the Hatfield Peverel branch of the Western Front Association by Regional Volunteer Tony Stubbs.

12th September 2010 Rededication of St Paul's Worcester war memorial (WM2637), Worcestershire 

Regional Volunteer Ronald Bubb represented the Trust at the rededication of the war memorial at St Paul's Church in Worcester.  Further information about the Trust grant awarded to the memorial can be found here.

12th September 2010 National Family History Fair, Tyne and Wear 

Regional Volunteers Janet Brown and James Pasby distributed information about War Memorials Trust at the National Family History Fair in Gateshead.

9th-12th September 2010 Heritage Open Days 

Regional Volunteers Rachel Farrand (Nottinghamshire) and Chris Stephens (Leicestershire) displayed materials about the work of War Memorials Trust over the Heritage Open Days weekend.

6th September 2010 Regional Volunteers Day, Alrewas, Staffordshire 

RV Day at National Memorial Arboretum © WMT, 2010The Trust held the annual Regional Volunteers Day at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire. The charity’s Administrator, Nancy Treves, and Conservation Officer, Emma Nelson, were joined by 17 Regional Volunteers and 5 guests for a day of discussion about the Trust, how Regional Volunteers can effectively support the work of the charity and how the charity can assist Regional Volunteers.

5th September 2010 Rededication of Shotesham war memorial (WM3099), Norfolk 

Regional Volunteer Stephen Williams represented the Trust at the rededication of the restored Shotesham war memorial.  Further information about the Trust grant awarded to the Shotesham war memorial can be found here.

5th September 2010 Talk to Western Front Association Scotland branch, Edinburgh

A talk about War Memorials Trust was given to the Scotland branch of the Western Front Association in Portobello, Edinburgh by Regional Volunteer Van Leiper.

4th September 2010 1940s event, Lancashire 

Regional Volunteer Jayne Waring distributed information about War Memorials Trust at a 1940s event in Lancashire.

15th August 2010 65th VJ Day anniversary service, London 

Frances Moreton, Trust Director, represented the charity at the 65th VJ Day anniversary service at the Cenotaph on Whitehall.

3rd August 2010 Talk to Old Buckingham Antiques Talks Group, Norfolk

Regional Volunteer June Marriage gave a talk about war memorials and the work of the Trust to the members of the Old Buckingham Antiques Talks Group.

20th July 2010 Buckingham Palace Garden Party, London

 18th July 2010 Unveiling at Dundrennan war memorial (WM4038), Dumfries  

Regional Volunteer Paul Goodwin represented the Trust at the unveiling of a new plaque on the Dundrennan war memorial.

10th-11th July 2010 Thorpe Camp 1940s weekend, Lincolnshire 

Regional Volunteer Trevor Hearn distributed information about War Memorials Trust at the Thorpe Camp 1940s weekend event.

7th July 2010 Rededication of Wetheral war memorial (WM3171), Cumbria 

Regional Volunteer Elspeth Griffiths represented the charity at the rededication of the Wetheral war memorial which had received a grant from the Trust.  Further information about the grant is available here.

5th July 2010 War Memorials Trust AGM, London 

War Memorials Trust AGM © WMT, 2010The Trust's AGM was held at the Imperial War Museum and was attended by around 60 members who joined staff, Trustees and Patrons. Chairman Algy Cluff reviewed the Trust’s activities over the last year with Treasurer Roger Bardell reporting on the financial performance. Staff delivered short presentations on key aspects of the Trust’s work. Frances Moreton spoke about educational activities, Nancy Treves discussed Regional Volunteers and Amy Davidson presented details of some of the grants awarded in 2009.  The meeting concluded with a question and answer session.

5th July 2010 Pre-AGM walk, London

Prior to the AGM a walk by Blue Badge Guide Sarah Fordham took place. Starting at the RAF Church, St Clement Danes on the Strand, the walk progressed along Fleet Street through Somerset House and across Jubilee Bridge. The International Brigade war memorial and the Arch at Waterloo station were visited before moving onto St John's Church opposite the station.

26th June 2010 Tankfest, Dorset

Regional Volunteer Katherine Seymour distributed information about the work of War Memorials Trust at the Tankfest event at Bocington Tank Museum.

18th-20th June 2010 Seahouses Festival, Northumberland 

Regional Volunteers Janet Brown and James Pasby distributed information about War Memorials Trust at the Seahouses Festival.

16th June 2010 Talk to Royal British Legion Helledson branch, Norfolk

A talk about war memorials and the work of the Trust was given to the members of the Hellesdon branch of the Royal British Legion by Regional Volunteer June Marriage.

The Trust was represented by Regional Volunteer Katherine Seymour at the annual Collingwood memorial service.

1st June 2010 Rededication of Wakerley war memorial, Rutland

The Trust was represented by Regional Volunteer Charles Clarke at the rededication of the war memorial lychgate at St John the Baptist Church, Wakerley.

3rd June 2010 Talk to Glencairn History Group, Renfrewshire 

Regional Volunteer Paul Goodwin gave a talk about the Trust to the members of the Glencairn History Group.

31st May 2010 Gressenhall Fair, Norfolk

War Memorials Trust was represented bt Regional Volunteer Paul Goodwin at the unveiling of a memorial to Squadron Leader Patrick Gifford in Castle Douglas.

15th May 2010 Talk to Gateshead Local History Group, Tyne and Wear 

Regional Volunteer James Pasby gave a talk about the work of War Memorials Trust to Gateshead Local History Group.

12th May 2010 Talk to Melton Mowbray Women's Guild, Leicestershire 

Regional Volunteer Trevor Hearn gave a talk about the Trust to members of the Melton Mowbray Women's Guild in Melton Mowbray.
