This memorial is located in St Tysilio’s Church on Church Island, near the Menai Bridge (mainland side), Wales. It is made from grey granite and has a plinth with rounded sides supporting a tall in-filled celtic wheel cross. There are inscriptions on the sides of the plinth and step in black lettering.
War Memorials Trust gave a grant of £1,500 to clean the stonework with water and soft bristle brushes, cracks were grouted and joints re-pointed. The lettering was also repainted.
The memorial was unveiled in 1921 by Lieutenant General Sir Philip Chetwode
