Hebden Bridge war memorial stone of remembrance is located in the Memorial Garden on New Road. It is within the war memorial park.
In 2007, a Small Grants Scheme offer of £1,470 was made towards repairs to the railings and gates of the memorial park. These had become damaged and required work including cleaning and safe re-installation.
The Memorial Garden was dedicated on 31st October 1938 as a focal point of Remembrance in Hebden Bridge.
The inscription on the stone reads:
1914-1918 1939-1945
In proud and glorious memory
of the
men of this district
who made the supreme sacrifice
in the two World Wars.
This tablet was placed here by the
Hebden Bridge and district branch
British Legion

In 2009, War Memorials Trust was advised that the Council changed the stone of remembrance due to concerns about vandalism. The original plaque was retained but the stone it is placed on was replaced. Additional security measures were also implemented to combat some of the problems of vandalism in the park.
