The Grade II Listed Stokenchurch war memorial is located outside the Memorial Hall, Wycombe Road. It takes the form of a Latin cross with carved detailing. The inscriptions on the memorial are incised on panels on the octagonal plinth.
In 2019 a grant of £840 was offered from the War Memorials Trust grant scheme to clean and repoint the memorial, undertake some minor stone repairs and recut some lettering by hand. Upon completion the final grant paid was £530. This was due to a decrease in the costs associated with the project.
The memorial was unveiled on 7 June 1925 and was built by Messrs Axtell and Son of Oxford. It commemorates 40 individuals from the community who fell in the First World War with a further 31 being added after the Second World War. Two women were included in those commemorated from the Second World War. The first is Eleanor Slade, a Flight Captain in the Air Transport Auxiliary who died in a crash and the second is Florence May Steptoe, a Private in the Auxiliary Territorial Service.
