WM8608 St Nicholas Church war memorial clock, Austrey © Austrey Parish Council, 2014Austrey war memorial is located at St Nicholas Church on Church Lane in Austrey, Warwickshire. This memorial is a clock located on the tower of the church. There is a stone plaque on the south wall of the church commemorating those who died in World War I and II. The memorial has some protection by virtue of being fixed to a Grade II* listed church.

In 2014 a grant of £500 was awarded through the Small Grants Scheme towards cleaning and repairing the broken clock.

In 2021, a further grant of £2,960 was offered through War Memorials Trust Grants Scheme. Works by specialist clock conservation contractors saw a new auto-wind mechanism fitted to ensure that clock kept accurate time and chimes are operational to allow the memorial to continue to function in the manner intended at its dedication.

The clock is the village war memorial. It was made by Smiths of Derby and was installed in 1923.
