The memorial consists of 27 timber plaques with black painted roll of honour and commemorative inscription. The memorial is located within the Guild Hall, Ludlow
In 2014 a grant of £1,650 was offered for repair and conservation work. The commemorative boards were not on display and had a build-up of soiling. To address these issues, the boards were lightly cleaned and protected with 
bees wax and were mounted to walls to increase accessibility.
Unfortunately little is known on the background and history of these memorial plaques.
