Dinton with Ford war memorial © D Armstrong 2009Dinton with Ford war memorial cross is located in St Peter and St Paul churchyard. The simple Portland stone Latin cross stands on a square plinth upon which the names of the fallen are recorded. This stands on a three-stepped base.

In 2005, a grant of £200 was made towards the costs of cleaning the stonework as well as repairing joints on the plinth and base stones with lime mortar.

The memorial was unveiled on 26th February 1923 by General Sir Robert Fanshawe and dedicated by the Lord Bishop of Buckingham. It was designed by architect Mr Raymond White and built by Mr J W Killer.

The memorial records fallen from both World Wars.
