Whittlebury war memorial is located on the village green on the High Street. The memorial is made of stone and is in the design of a Celtic wheel cross with decorative knotwork carving on the front of the cross. The cross stands on a plinth which has the inscription incised and painted commemorating those killed in World War I.
In 2011 War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £224 towards a project to improve the legibility of the inscriptions on the memorial as they were difficult to read. This entailed cleaning the memorial with water and non-metallic brushes and the lettering was re-painted.
The memorial was built by J. G. Pullen and Sons and was dedicated on 27th April 1920.
