Froxfield war memorial before work © Froxfield Parish Council 2007Froxfield war memorial stands 40m north of St Peter's Church on Froxfield Green close to a timber-framed listed lychgate. The stone cross  is atop a tapered shaft on a plinth and four-stepped base. The memorial is Grade II listed and in the Froxfield Green conservation area.

In 2007, a Small Grants Scheme award of £850 supported a conservation project on the memorial. Repairs were undertaken to the stone work using matching stone and lime mortar, the memorial was re-pointed using lime mortar and cleaned with the DOFF method.

It is believed the memorial replicates that in Corfe in Dorset.
