The war memorial in the Kent village of Bredgar, near Sittingbourne, is a Portland stone wheel cross on a double plinth on a two-stepped base. There is moulding at the top of the pillar, below the cross. Names and dedications are inscribed around the four faces of the lower plinth. There is an inscribed plaque on a low angled concrete block next to the memorial. The memorial stands on a green at the junction of The Street and Gore Road, beside the pond. Two concrete bollards at either end of the green are wartime tank traps.
In 2005/6 English Heritage and the Wolfson Foundation offered a grant of £330 towards work to clean the memorial with water and to re-point it using lime mortar.
The dedication and names on one side of the plinth read
