RAF Sandtoft war memorial © Sqn Ldr Fennell, 2000A memorial was erected at the wartime base at RAF Sandtoft to commemorate the aircrew and ground personnel of the base who died. It stands on lands owned by Finningley Amateur Radio Society.

War Memorials Trust contributed £75 to the creation of the memorial.

Every November on Remembrance Sunday a service is held at the memorial. Wreaths are laid, the last post sounded and there is a fly past of "vintage" aircraft.
