Invergowrie war memorial before work © R Leiper 2009Invergowrie's Celtic cross war memorial stands outside the Presbyterian Church.

The original memorial stood as part of the gateway of the village park. In the 1990's the area was vulnerable to vandalism and the memorial site was being desecrated. The local community therefore decided on a new memorial  outside the Church that would have a cross erected as a fitting tribute. War Memorials Trust gave £250 towards the cost.

Subsequent to the erection of the memorial work has taken place to create a floral enclosure and install spotlights.
