Castlefields Wesleyan Church war memorial is located in All Saints Church, which is in a conservation area. The memorial is a marble plaque fixed to a marble base. The inscription is formed of painted lead-lettering and is dedicated to the men who fell in the First World War.
In 2014, War Memorials Trust offered a grant of £225 towards cleaning the memorial using water and non-metallic bristle brushes, repairing the damaged lettering using lead and re-enameling the lead lettering using black enamel paint. The memorial was also fixed to a marble base, as it was previously propped up against a wall.
The inscription on the memorial reads:
"In memory of
men who have given their lives
in the Great War 1914-1918, connected
with Castlefields Wesleyan Church
(names)
Greater love hath no man than this, that
a man lay down his life for his
friends. John 15. 13.”
