Get advice or Report a concern
There are a range of ways to get advice or report a concern if you have a war memorial issue.
Immediate help
- Read the helpsheets, Frequently asked questions or advice on applying for a grant. These pages cover common questions/issues and are often the quickest way for you to find the information you need.
- Report your concern about a war memorial or update its condition on War Memorials Online. War Memorials Online is a website designed to create a greater understanding of the condition of war memorials and enables you to submit condition updates and concerns directly to War Memorials Trust.
Contact War Memorials Trust
War Memorials Trust provides grants and advice on the protection, repair and maintenance of war memorials. We aim to offer help and assistance to anyone with a war memorial related enquiry. However, due to the centenary of World War I, we currently have a very high workload. We are a small charity that relies on donations to undertake our work and our funding impacts the number of people we have available to assist. Therefore, we feel at this time we should let people know that we may not be able to answer every email and a reply may take up to 6 weeks. If your email relates to a subject that War Memorials Trust does not deal with, we may not be able to reply at all.
- Email conservation@warmemorials.org outlining your question, request or concern. If you are asking about a specific war memorial please make sure you provide details. We also need photographs if you are asking for advice about a memorial
- Telephone 020 7233 7356 to talk to a member of the Conservation Team. Our normal telephone hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10am - 4pm
- Open the condition survey form (see associated documents on the right hand side). Either complete it electronically, save and return by email; or print it out, fill in by hand and return by post
